People and Society

The individual contribution was a major factor for the successful organisation of the Olympic Games. Some people contributed by conceiving the idea of the revival; others by financing the Games and the construction of sports facilities. This part is dedicated to Greek contributors and athletics of different times who believed in the spirit of noble contest and the Olympic ideas.
